Brooks Koepka curses over Bryson DeChambeau in leaked PGA interview
The feud between Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau appears to be strengthening after a leaked interview at the PGA Championship last week.
During a round-round interview with the Golf Channel, Koepka was discussing the conditions of the Ocean Course, when Dechambue followed him to the shot.
"I didn't put well, but I don't think any player was going to do well with this wind," Koepka said before appearing on DeChambeau. "It's so hard. I don't know what other people have said, I sometimes find it hard to read."
At that time, DeChambeau & another man follow Koepka, & one of them appears to be some bubbling. Frustrated Koepka closed his eyes before continuing to answer the question.
"Sometimes, um ... I lost my train of thought. Listening to that nonsense," Koepka said before deciding to shoot the question again.
The Golf Channel never aired the video, which was leaked on social media.
The feud between the two golfers has intensified in the following years after Koepka targeted a rant about the long pre-shot routine at DeChambu in 2019. The following year, DeChambu mocked Kopka's body after appearing in ESPN's Body Issue.
Koepka was near the top of the PGA Championship leaderboard all weekend, but finished second behind winner Phil Mickelson with Louis Oosthuizen (4-under), becoming the oldest major champion in 50 years. DeChambeau finished 3 overs behind seven shots from Koepka.
