Techland announced that Dying Light 2: Stay Human will begin on December 7 for PC, PlayStation consoles and Xbox consoles.
Poland's Techland's Wrocław's game has been in the works for years and has been delayed, but it's good to see it hangs for launch in 2021, while many other Triple-A games are expected to slip. Due to the delay of the 2022 pandemic. The game is about surviving in the modern dark ages where you can use parkour against the zombie hordes.
Techland opened up pre-borders to the game during the first episode of Dying 2 No, an in-game web series about the world of Dying Light 2. The company also showed a new trailer for the open world where Jombi has overtaken a big city and humans venture outside at their own risk. It takes place 15 years after the zombie apocalypse. The new protagonist is Aiden Caldwell, who joins with Knight Runner who can ally against the corpse of light and darkness.
It is going to be a huge open world with lots of characters and factions and missions. You have to use your parkour skills to maneuver through The City, a vast urban open world set in Europe. The map is four times larger than the original game and is divided into seven different regions. The City is the last bastion of mankind against the zombie virus, and judging from the trailer, The City is not doing so well. You can expect a lot of competition.
Three retail editions will be available in the game: Standard, Deluxe and Collector. These are with three digital versions: Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate. Everyone who pre-orders any version of the game will receive a special digital reload pack, which will feature a unique costume, weapon and paraglider skin. More information about all available editions and their content, including Dying Light 2: Stay Human's grand collector edition, can be found on the official preorder page. It will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4 and PS5.
The original game surfaced in 2015 and has been played by over 20 million people. A cool feature in addition to parkour mechanics was its night and day cycle, as creatures became more dangerous at night. The success of Dying Light has helped Techland grow to over 400 employees.
