The singer is nominated for female video of the year for her song "Next Girl" at the 2021 CMT Awards
Carly Pearce and her puppy June Jolene are a paw-perfect pair!
The country singer, 31, arrived with her adorable 1-year-old rescue pooch on the red carpet of the 2021 CMT Music Awards in Nashville on Wednesday. June — who is named after country legend June Carter — even wore a pink, diamond-studded collar and strap to match Pearce's three-piece floral Ines di Santo ensemble.
Before the show, Pearce posted an Iams-sponsored video to Instagram that shows June playing with her brother Johnny, the dog of Pearce's mom, Jackie.
“We are best friends and our pups are best friends,” Pearce says of her mom in the clip, which she captioned, “June and I loved partnering up with @iams for the #CMTawards. This past His presence throughout the year has been such a comfort to me. Don't forget to tune in on Wednesdays at 8/7c to catch more of our story."
In April, Pearce celebrated June's birthday on Instagram, writing, "Happy first birthday my girl I can't even begin to describe how much joy you've made me last year."
At this year's CMT Music Awards, Pierce is nominated for Female Video of the Year for her song "Next Girl".
Pearce debuted "Next Girl" last September, in the midst of finalizing her divorce from fellow country singer Michael Ray. In "Next Girl", she sings the hidden "red flags" and blames herself after the breakup.
"You'll think it's all your fault / It's just a switch he turns off / He makes you think it's love / But I promise you it's not," she sings.

Elsewhere in the tune, Pearce talks straight about who the so-called next girl will be as she tracks the breakdown of a relationship.
"Hey next girl, you don't know me / I'm just what he says he's mad at him / That's all he does / But once I was / Next girl, I'm where you' when He looks like you pretty much forgot / He'll charm your mom with that smile / Hide red flags for a while," she sings.
In a press release at the time, Pearce said, "We live in a world where there are so many smooth-talking guys who are so quick to get you off your feet — and they always have a story about the girl. "
"So when we were asking ourselves, 'What would Patty Lovelace do?' We thought she would not only warn the girl, she would turn all the cards over: how he acts, how he talks about the old girlfriend, what he will do after meeting her," she continued.
Pearce said she was "nervous" to record "Next Girl", especially after the death of her longtime producer Busby, but she was quickly reassured and attached to the message once she was in the studio.
"It was also very exciting because as the tracks started going down, I realized: This is who I am at my core," she said. "It's the music that flows through my blood, that pours out of my pores. It's everything I love and love in a song, and when it runs, it feels good."
In conversation with The Kelly Bannon Show on Apple Music Country, Pierce explained how broken relationships inspired the warning song.
"If a girl hasn't experienced it yet, God bless them she hasn't - they're leaving," she said. "And I think the song is almost like preparation and it's also an anthem, like, there's nothing in it. ... We women think it has nothing to do with us. It has nothing to do with us. -No giving and nothing to do with everything. Them."
The 2021 CMT Music Awards are broadcast live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on MTV, MTV2, Logo, Paramount Network and TV Land.
