Joanna Gaines, 43, Rocks Gorgeous Bikini While on 18th Anniversary Vacation With Husband Chip
It's common to meet Joanna Gaines in a pair of jeans and a T-shirt while working her farm, but the TV star traded in her khakis for a bikini while vacationing in Mexico. Joanna flaunted her gorgeous bikini body in a two-piece bathing suit during a trip to the beach to celebrate her 18th anniversary with husband Chip Gaines.
The 43-year-old mother of five flaunted her flawless figure while sharing a clip of her jumping into the pool on Tuesday, June 1. In the quick video, Joanna can be seen holding her nose as her bathing suit-clad self steps back. and fell into the luxurious body of water.
The clip was included in a video collage that the Magnolia Journal founder shared for the couple's 18th anniversary, which they celebrated on May 31. With the minute montage, Chip and Jo can be seen on an adventure around beautiful Mexico. She sweetly wrote, "18 years. Thank you for joining us on this adventure with you - happy anniversary."
It doesn't happen often for Chip and Jo to treat themselves to the holiday, given that their hands constantly run their Magnolia empire. In addition to having several businesses on their plate, the longtime lovebirds — who married in 2003 — are proud parents of five children: Drake, 16, Ella Rose, 14, Duke, 13, Emmy Kay, 11, and Crew, 2.
No matter how busy his schedule is, the Fixer Upper alum doesn't need to think twice about prioritizing his family over his professional life. During a conversation with TODAY star Jenna Bush Hager for Southern Living in February 2019, Joanna explained why motherhood is "everything" to her.
"Everything else in my life may go by, but that's my thing. That's what wakes me up. It's my heart - these kids," she said. "Being a mother is at the core of who I'm. It's my top priority."
The HGTV alum said that her kids are especially on her mind when she's traveling or out for work. "I always challenge myself every day — even if it involves going on a trip out of town — asking myself, 'What can I do to fill these kids up?' he shared. "The biggest investment I have ever made in life as a woman and as a wife & as a mother is time. That's my biggest investment."
Although it looks like they are having a blast in Mexico, we bet Chip & Jo can not wait to go home to their kids!
