Dancer and choreographer Serge Onik, best known for his appearance on the So You Think You Can Dance show, has passed away. He was 33 years old.
Onick's representative, Movement Talent Agency president Jim Keith, confirmed his death in a statement released to Entertainment Weekly. The cause of his death is currently unknown.
"He was an amazing dancer with a huge heart and he touched the lives of everyone he met," Keith said in a statement. "He will be truly missed. It's a sad day for us at the agency and for the entire dance community."
A trained ballroom dancer, Onik was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and his family moved to the U.S. at the age of 3. was gone.
She made it to the top 20 of the 11th season of So You Think You Can Dance in 2014.
Tributes are being paid to the late talent, who also appeared in Dancing with the Stars, Marvel's Agent Carter, Bones and Jane the Virgin.
Her last role this summer was in Lin Manuel-Miranda's In the Heights.

Dance Dish host Kristin Burt paid tribute to "an incredible talent".
He tweeted, "My heart is broken. Serjonic was not only an incredible talent, he was also a great friend." "RIP, my friend."

One of Onik's former dance partners tweeted: "This is going to hurt forever! RIP Serge Onik! Such a privilege to dance with you and learn from you!"
