Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker and his football team are in the midst of their best start since 2015, propelling themselves to No. 17 in Week 5 of the collegiate season AP poll.
The team has gone on an undefeated 4-0 win streak, beating Nebraska 23-20 in overtime last night by the foot of graduate student kicker Matt Coglin.
The top three teams have not changed since last week and remain No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Georgia and No. 3 Oregon.
