Gameplay
Along with worrying about weight, you will have to search for fuel, water or food, build hangars so that your workers can reach the earth, or it is satisfying to see these aircraft in retrospect. The map is absolutely open to explore from the start, but the lack of resources will hold you back, or you will have to change storage buildings before stockpiles are built to supply you through the long journey. Some smart UI tricks make it easy to know where you have hired workers at a glance. Once you send an aircraft to a forest for wood, that area will be marketed by red balloons, one for each worker. The amount of wood left in that woodland is shown next to the earth, so you do not have to walk around with the menu to search out if it is running low. Or it's not just the UI that's smooth: the whole game, even the early, out of date demo I play, is a joy to watch. Vander says the team is going for a toy box, miniature feel or so far, they are on target. The buildings are multiplyer dioramas of fog or spinning blades, & if you zoom in, you can see every single worker march along the walkway.
