Elliot Page shares first post-op shirtless photo
Fans were sending congratulations to the page, which came out last year as transgender, and was mesmerized by her eight-pack abs.
Actor Elliot Page, who appeared as a transgender last year, has posted his first post-op shirtless photo on social media.
"Trans BB's first swim trunks," Page posted on Instagram, which featured red swim trunks, sunglasses, a baseball cap and a big smile while standing ankle-deep in a pool.
"You look amazing !!!" Actress Ruby Rose responded.
Actress and comedian Ilana Glazer wrote, "Look at the date handsome boi."
"And happiest of all," wrote actress Nina Dobrev.
Others commented that the eight-pack belly page was in play.
Singer Tanya Tagak wrote, "Can I borrow some abs? Thanks."
"Dude, I see why you crushed me on that workout!" Actor and singer Justin Cornwell wrote.
Page, the star of the "Juno," "Inception," "X-Men" franchise and "Umbrella Academy", appeared as a transgender last December. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey last month, Page said she believed top surgery was life-changing and may have saved her life.
During the interview, when Winfrey asked him what brought him the most happiness, Page got tears in his eyes. The Oscar-nominated actor said it was small things - such as wearing a T-shirt, placing a towel around his waist after the shower or touching his chest - that made him "probably the first person in my body to feel comfortable."
Page urged officials to support health care for transgender people and allow them access to sports. Some MPs are seeking to ban transgender youth from playing sports that match their gender identity. "Children will die," Page said. "And it's really that easy."
