The Weeknd dominates Billboard Music Awards with 10 wins; See the full list of winners
The Weeknd was cleared at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards, with 10 trophies.
Nominated for a major 16 awards, The Weeknd's victory - which includes top performers and top 100 performers - saw his career jump to a total of 19, making him the first since Drake, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Garth Brooks Placed in the top five winners.
The Weeknd followed their sweep with a wild performance of "Save Your Tears" as they exchanged backup dancers for the automobile.
Nick Jonas hosted the live award show held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and closed the night with the Jonas Brothers performance of their new Marshmello collab "Leave Before You Love Me".
Drake, who came into the night as the winning artist with 27 trophies, added another to the top streaming song artist by the end of the night. The rapper was hailed as the artist of the decade, and brought his son Adonis to the stage to celebrate the milestone.

Pink Tonights was the recipient of the Icon Award. "Rise Your Glass" is the 10th person to receive the award, joining the ranks of singer Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Cher. Her 9-year-old daughter, Willow Sage Hart, joined the stage for a spectacular aerial performance.
Other notable performances of the night also included her second English-language BTS 'debut single, "Butter," with Colombian artist Karol G making her BBMAs debut, Doja Cat and SZA's show up with their hit song "Kiss Me More" , "And the famous Alicia Keys celebrated the 20th anniversary of their debut album" Songs in a Minor "with a medley performance, following the poignant tribute of Michelle Obama.
The Billboard Music Awards are based on the chart period of March 21, 2020 to April 3, 2021.
