LA Clippers star Kawhi Leonard will miss Wednesday's Game 5 against the Utah Jazz with a right knee injury and could be ruled out of the rest of the series.
The Clippers announced on Wednesday that Leonard sprained his right knee in their Game 4 win and "there is no timetable for his return."
Leonard sprained a knee on a drive late in LA's Game 4 win, in the Western Conference semifinals, moaning in pain when he was planted on the way to the basket. He stayed for a while but did not finish the game.
After the game, Leonard clearly didn't want to talk about his knee.
"I'm good," said Leonard. "Next question."
Sources said he informed his teammates late on Tuesday that he would be out for Wednesday.
Leonard suffered a quad tendon injury in his right knee in 2017, but has recently dealt with issues in his left knee.
He has been excellent post season for the Clippers and averages 27.3 points and 7.5 rebounds in four matches against the Jazz.
LA is already without center Serge Ibaka, who had back surgery last week.
