Sheboygan, Wis. — British actor Tom Felton, best known for playing Draco Malfoy in the "Harry Potter" films, collapsed at the Ryder Cup Thursday while playing a celebrity golf exhibit.
Ryder Cup organizers said only that Felton experienced "a medical incident" in Whistling Straits and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He did not give any other information.
Felton was on the 18th hole when he went down. He was helped to his feet, put on a stretcher and driven into a golf cart. He turned 34 on Wednesday.
Felton was representing Europe in the Celebrity Match, which took place in the U.S. And the Ryder Cup of Europe is held the day before the start.
He appeared in several films, most notably eight films in the "Harry Potter" series.
