The Oklahoma City Thunder have made NBA history yet again - but it's not something they should brag about.
In May 2020, the Thunder lost a home game to the Indiana Pacers by 57 points, the largest home loss in NBA history.
On Thursday, the Thunder lost 152-79 on the road to the Memphis Grizzlies. That means, according to ESPN Stats & Information Research, the Thunder now have the biggest road loss (73 points) and the biggest home loss in NBA history.
The winning margin of 73 points is a new NBA record, with the Cleveland Cavaliers winning 68 points over the Miami Heat in 1991.
The Grizzlies were able to drop 152 points with a roster that has zero combined All-Star appearances - and with star point guard Jaa Morante due to injury.
Reactions poured in from the sports world, with Morant being one of the first to chime in about his team.
damn i can't wait to get back out there 😭 .. great team win tho gang 🐻 #GrzNxtGen
