This second major update to Monster Train adds new champions, new bosses, new cards, and new artifacts, which together add new strategic options and significant amounts of iteration. We've also added a number of requested player features to the logbook, like a personal run record page, an enemy wave counter in battle, and a preview of Ring 3 and Ring 6 bosses at the start of a run. We're excited to let you know, there's more on the way! In this content update we create a playground with 35 new mutators, new difficulty settings for experienced players, and new simple ways to challenge friends and community. Hell is frozen Only you can protect the last burning pyre from the forces of heaven and restore hell. The Monster Train brings a new strategic layer to the Rugulike deck building, with three vertical playing fields for rescue. No Plethrin is ever the same. To take the hell back, you will need electricity. Choose your route carefully, different places offer different benefits; Upgrade your champion, recruit powerful units, upgrade cards, get passive bonuses or mimic any card in your deck. Each has its own unique and stunning gameplay, with five clans to choose from. Select your primary and auxiliary clan to gain access to all cards from both. During your run you will be able to improve the card by upgrading and matching to open new roads to victory. You can also copy your favorite cards on the special map node before closing against the final boss. In Hell Rush multiplayer mode, eight players compete in a frantic real-time competition. Each player has the same resources and opponents to create an equal playing field. With the clock ticking it is tested who can make the best decision under pressure. Only a real speed demon can remain undefeated. Take a new challenge every day with a highly modified run due to gameplay muters. Compete globally & against friends, or climb the leaderboards with a skill-focused scoring system.
