Real Madrid began their presidential campaign on Sunday with a 2-1 loss to Scottish champions Rangers at Ibrox.
Steven Gerrard's team came back with a goal in the second half from Fashion Sakla and Cedric Itten.
Carlo Ancelotti's side took the lead after eight minutes via a Rodrygo strike, but struggled to find form throughout the 90 minutes when their star players were not available.
Madrid also finished the game with 10 men after defender Nacho was shown a straight red card in the 75th minute before Rangers took the lead.
The Spanish giants were without the new signings of David Alaba, Gareth Bale, Marcelo, Toni Kroos and Rafael Varane who returned to training in Madrid.
Madrid will be expected to do better when they face AC Milan in their next friendly on 8 August.
