Kelly Ripa shares intimate family photos for son Joaquin’s 18th birthday
He is all grown up.
Kelly Ripa shared intimate photos of her family to celebrate son Joaquin's 18th birthday. The montage featured photos of Joaquin with dad Mark Concellos and 23-year-old siblings Michael and 19-year-old Lola.
"Happy birthday to the light of our lives! You fill each day with joy, and make everything better! We love you to the moon and beyond," wrote Ripa, 50.
One photo also features Joaquin posing with the cast of "The Impossible Joker".
The 49-year-old "Riverdale" actor also posted his tribute to his youngest child, writing, "Happy 18th birthday Quino! @Kellyripa Our little boy has grown up. We love you Joaquin!"
Ripa revealed earlier this month that Joaquin is deciding which college to attend, a trip she and her husband did not think would be possible given her severe learning disability.
"[Mark] said, 'You know, I never thought he would be able to go to college.' Because he was deeply dyslexic and dysgraphic, ”said Ripa.
Ripa said that "through hard work, determination, [and] healing," Joaquin was able to overcome his struggles, calling his learning disabilities "a misunderstood learning gap".
Concellos and Ripa's son Michael graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in May 2020, while Lola is in her second year at NYU.
