While the Khalifa has made a habit of posting anti-Israel messages on social media since the conflict between the Jewish state and Hamas in Gaza this month, the Vine tweet elicited the most widespread response.
Jonah Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Dispatch, wrote, "I love how those who hated Israel cast it as young." "Yes, the modern state of Israel was founded in '48' - but it was 10 years before the founding of Iraq and five years before the founding of Egypt. The nation of Israel (and Egypt) are very old."
British commentator Darren Grimes said, "She should try to drink that wine in Gaza and see how fast she runs away to Tel Aviv."
Townhall.com columnist Kurt Schleicher said, "Your group of terrorists have never won a war the whole time a bottle of wine was present."
Noam Blum, associate editor of the tabloid magazine, said, "Alcohol is illegal in Gaza."
Still others noted that one of the bottles with the Khalifa dated to 1943 and contained champagne produced in Nazi-occupied France.
One user wrote, "Drinking wine from Vichy France and owning the Jewish state." "Well, yes."

The Khalifa defended and reiterated his statement despite the ongoing protests on Sunday.
In response to a user who told him, "Israel is the only country in the Middle East where you won't be stoned on the street" In reference to his porn career, Khalifa replied: "I'll take my chances in Saudi and Syria, which 'Born in Lebanon' on my passport will not do well in 'Israel'.
Khalifa, who had a meteoric - but not quite profitable - adult industry run in 2014, has recently discussed receiving death threats to ISIS over a scene filmed in a hijab in 2018.
