NEW YORK - After playing 46 minutes in his first game in 10 days, Nets star guard James Harden is available to play in Game 6 against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday. Meanwhile, All-Star guard Kyrie Irving has been sidelined with a right ankle sprain.
Nets coach Steve Nash said Wednesday that Irving would not travel with the team to Milwaukee. Instead, he will continue to receive treatment in Brooklyn. Nash said he has not yet proceeded to do any work on the court.
Harden injured his hamstring in Game 1 of the Nets conference semifinal series against the Bucks on June 5. He was out for over a week with what the team was calling a hamstring tightness.
Irving sprained his ankle in Game 4 against the Bucks. The organization is preparing for the possibility that Irving will not return the series, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
