Manchester United and Paul Pogba are still discussing a new contract, according to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Pogba has entered the final year of his deal at Old Trafford and has been a subject of interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
If the club cannot agree new terms with the France international, he will be able to walk free the following summer after leaving United at the end of his contract when he moved to Juventus in 2012.
"Talks are underway between Paul's representatives and club representatives," Solskjaer said on Saturday after the 4-2 preseason loss to QPR.
"All my conversations with Paul are that he is looking forward to the season. There is always speculation about Paul, conversations between representatives of the club and Paul, I don't know every single one of them in detail. I ' He really has nothing to say about it.

United announced on Saturday morning that Solskjaer has signed a new three-year contract to remain as manager until at least 2024.
The Norwegian has already approved the £72.9million signing of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and suggested there could be more new arrivals ahead of the deadline amid interest in Real Madrid defender Rafael Varane.
"You never say a team is complete," Solskjaer said. "It's always dynamic, there are always moving parts and you have to be ready for changes.
“We knew it was going to be a rebuild and closer to a team than I had imagined, that was attacking flair, pace and defensive tenacity. Last season we went home unbeaten in the league, We scored and tightened the back side as well.
“It is an honor to take the role of manager and to continue the work we have done with the staff, keep adding little things to improve and we have become a better team. Hopefully now we can be the next Can step up and challenge for it. Trophies."
Solskjaer saw his team suffer a massive defeat at Loftus Road despite goals from Jesse Lingard and Anthony Elanga.
Elanga, 18, has already impressed this summer after scoring his first senior goal on the final day of last season and Solskjaer said he could play a role for the first team when the new campaign starts in August.
"It would be easy to say that the boy should go on loan, but he is doing very well," Solskjaer said. "He is electric, he has speed, skill and has got the courage and bravery of a Man United player.
"Today he created opportunities for others and himself. I wouldn't be surprised if he's going to be here. It definitely depends. It's important for him to develop and get game time but he's the one we really looked forward to." not decided."
Solskjaer said defender Alex Telles will be out for "a few weeks" following an ankle injury.
